Soubrette is an opera singer's revolt. After studying classical voice at Bard College and touring with Juno Award-winning baroque orchestra Ensemble Caprice, she is now found fashioning pieces in DAWs and writhing on dark stages, liquefying experimental poetics, operatic arias, spells, accidents, improvisation, and sensual pop. She is a Performer-Composer MFA candidate at CalArts.
