"Brindisi (Libiamo)" is the name of the drinking song in the first act of "La Traviata," one of my all-time favorite operas. But my “Brindisi” is the cheeky inversion of a communal drinking song - cerebral storytelling, attempted mind-reading, and repositioning of the self to make room for others or to take control of my experience - snapshots of the inside of my head at the infamous Minneapolis bar the CC Club. It’s a New Age pop anthem.
